Stephen Davalos was born and raised in the LA area. After working in baking and cake decorating for over 13 years, Stephen began exploring the world of ceramics thanks to his lovely wife. When the pandemic began, He lost his job working in nonprofit. Stephen soon bought a used wheel, started throwing again in his home studio and Stevie Dee's Pottery was born. Stephen mixes his love of earth tones, vibrant colors, and Calaveras into his work. As a Chicano, Stephen loves sharing his culture as a way to get more in touch with his roots. Stephen lives in Pasadena, CA with his supportive wife, Allie, and his ungrateful dog, Bosco.
